Sponge Bob Square Pants Crochet Hat

So, finally done. Sponge Bob Square Pants Crochet Hat. It was tricky to make it square. I made one long narrow piece and then two small pieces for the sides. Since I didn't had any pattern it was a lot of redoing.

Crochet Olaf Hat

So I finally made an Olaf hat. I am not completely satisfied with it but it is cute enough.

LEGO hat

Who could imagine that Lego would be popular again. After The LEGO Movie it is bigger than ever.

Crochet Bob-Omb hat

If you don't want to put flowers on your black hat you can make it into a Bob-Omb hat.

Bob-Omb is a character from Super Mario Bros.

Crochet Link Hat

A Link hat. 

Link is the hero from the games about Zelda. 

If you don't want to be a dork you have to remember his name is not Zelda, it is Link.

Crochet Yoshi hat

Another green hat. Maybe it is a green Yoshi.

Angry Pig Crochet Hat

Here is a funny hat to look at until it gets cold enough to wear it.

Minions are so cool. Nothing can go wrong with a minion hat on unless you wearing it like this.

Chu Totoro Hat

 

The hat is made for a one year kid so the hat is little stretched out on the doll so the eyes looks like they are a little too far from each other.

 

Mössan är gjord till en ettåring så den är lite utsträckt på dockan. Vilket gör att ögonen ser ut som de är lite långt ifrån varandra.

 

 

Chu Totoro is the medium-size, blue Totoro and is a guardian of the forest. When you first see him, he's carrying a bag of nuts with a hole in the bottom of it that leaves a trail when he walks and runs.

How to crochet Totoro ears

Here are Totoro’s ears to mine next Totoro hat, a smaller one.

I start with a chain. Crochet one lap without increasing, next round I crochet 2 or 3 crochet in each stich to make it flat.

On this ears I did 2 in each so it is not so flat, on the big Totoro hat I did 3 in each. 3 crochet in each stich makes it totally flat but also very big. I wanted a smaller ear so I decided to go on a rounder shape. 

The next round no increasing to make it turn upwards, and after that decrease every 5th stich to make a cone form. At the end I decrease every 3rd stich.

 

Här är örona till min nästa Totoromössa, en mindre mössa. Jag började med att virka en kedja. Första varvet ökade jag inget, nästa varv virkar jag 2 eller 3 maskor i varje maska, för att få en plattare form. På de första örona jag gjorde ökade jag 3 maskor i varje maska vilket gjorde den helt platt men också väldigt stor. Därför bestämnde jag mig för en rundare form var ok så att örat inte skulle bli så stort. Tredje varvet ökar jag inget igen för att få örat att vika av uppåt. Föjande varv minskar jag var 5:te maska, de sista varven vart 3:dje maska.

Totoro Crochet Hat

Here is the reason that I have not done so many hats recently. The ears is so hard to make on the hat and then make them stand right up. So hard. I crochet the ears over and over again and it seams impossible to make two ears that looks the same since I don't use a pattern. In the beginning I started the ear from the top of the ear and crochet down it didn't work for me so I tried to start from the bottom of the ear and crochet up instead. Which gave the ear a cone shape. The hat turn out to be very big I hope it is not too big for the person that I am going to give it to.

 

Här har ni orsaken till varför jag inte har kunnat göra några nya mössor på ett tag. En Totoromössa, öronen var helt omöjliga att göra. Det sluta med att jag virkade örona från botten och upp istället från toppen och ner som jag gjorde i början. De fick en konformad form som jag gillade.

 

Totoro is the guardian of the forest and can only be seen by children and can appear or disappear as he wishes. He possess special ability such as being able to make plants grow, fly in the sky, and call Neko Bus.

Ice Age Sid the Sloth Crochet hat

Got a request for a Sloth hat. A Sloth? You know like Sid in Ice Age. The funny not so smart animal, he is a Sloth. What do you think? Does it look like him? 
There is a rumor going that there is going to be an Ice Age 5.

 

Fick en beställning på en Slothmössa. Du vet Sid från Ice Age, han är en sloth. Vet inte riktigt vad det djuret heter på svenska.  Är det likt?

Monsters Inc hat

I love Monsters Inc. It is funny and sweet. I was so happy when they said a Monsters Inc. 2 is coming out but it is just 3D, such a disappointment. I don't think there is a monster in Monsters Inc that looks like my hat but I still think it looks like a monster that could have been in Monsters Inc.

 

Monsters Inc är en rolig film. Det finns inget monster som ser ut som min hatt men jag tycker hatten ser ut som ett monster som kunde ha funnits i filmen. Nu kommer Monsters Inc 2 som tyvärr är samma film igen fast i 3D.

Nemo hat

 

Here is my Nemo hat. Took a long time to make.

The right fin is smaller just like Nemo's.

Den högra fenan är mindre än den vänstra precis som Nemos.

Bulbasaur hat

Another Pokemon hat. The Pokemon are still going strong. Gotta crochet them all.

Ännu en Pokemon hatt. Måste virka alla.

Pikachu hat

Min äldsta dotter växte upp med Pokemontrenden. Hon gillar fortfarande Pokemonspel men samlar inte kort eller andra pokemonsaker. Jag virkade endå en Pikachu hatt till henne. Den har nu fått en lycklig ägare för min dotter gav mössan till en kompis som fyllde år och kompisen blev mycket glad och gick runt med sin mössa hela dagen.

The best Pokemon of them all, Pikachu. Made this hat to my daughter and she gave it to a friend who loved it.

Diglett hat

Ännu en Pokemon hatt. Denna hatt var extremt enkel att göra. Inga öron eller antenner. Bara en enkel näsa och ögona gick snabbt att sy på. Mycket större utmaningar väntar dock.

Unicorn hat

En dag fick jag en beställning på en enhörningshatt. Det skulle inte vara vilken enhörning som helst utan en svart My Little Pony Unicorn. Det var inte så lätt att virka ett horn och sedan få det på rätt ställe på hatten men resultatet blev rätt bra.

This hat was made to a girl that likes My Little Pony, specially the unicorns.

Wooper hat

Så när min dotter kom till skolan med sin Elmohatt ville flera av hennes kompisar också ha annorlunda hattar. De beställde alla möjliga hattar. Ingen fråga om det ens var möjligt att göra dem. Här är en pokemoninspirerad hatt.
